Mumtaz was one of the most prominent actors of her era and
the highest-paid female actor in Bollywood from the late 1960s to the mid-1970s
She was quite active during the 70’s era. Known for her work in films like Ram Aur Shyam, Khilona, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Do Raaste, Chor Machaye Shor Aan Milo Sajna and many more.
After she bid adieu to Bollywood after getting married to bizman Mayur Madhvani, the actor has been away from the limelight. But her get-togethers with her old Bollywood colleagues are still going strong.
Recently, Mumtaz met Anju Mahendroo ex-flame of Rajesh Khanna and gave her a new hairdo.
Mumtaz and Anju Mahendroo had worked together in the 1969’s Rajesh Khanna starrer film Bandhan. On Friday, Anju Mahendroo took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture with her fans with Mumtaz playing with the latter’s hair and giving her a new hairstyle. She captioned the video “My new Hairstylist.
Both the divas posed beautifully for the picture and the photo clearly hints towards the duo’s special friendship.
Mumtaz reportedly stepped into ‘Ramayana’, the abode of veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha and family.
It was a surprise visit and Shatrughan was elated to meet Mumtaz. For Shatrughan Sinha it was truly nostalgic, reliving old memories remembering the good old times, spent as friends and actors. Those were the days.
