Mayilsamy popular Kollywood actor dies at 57 of heart attack
After the sad demise of actor Jamuna and veteran filmmaker K.Vishwanath, yet another Kollywood’s popular actor Mayilsamy dies at 57.
Veteran actor Kamal Haasan pays heartfelt tribute.
Kamal Haasan and other celebrities paid tributes as Tamil comedy actor Mayilsamy died at 57.
Kollywood’s most popular actor Mayilsamy breathed his last in Chennai early on Sunday following heart attack. The news was confirmed by the Nadigar Sangam, Artistes association.
Mayilsamy, Philanthropist too, has acted in over 100 films, including those starring top actors Ajith Kumar, Vijay and Kamal Haasan. He has appeared in TV debates also. Condolences poured in from several fellow actors.
Taking to his Twitter account, veteran actor-turned filmmaker, Kamal Haasan while paying tribute to the departed soul wrote “My friend Mylaswamy is successful in presenting his own style of comedy acting. He is thought by many to be helpful. A tribute to a dear friend Mayilsamy.
R Sarath Kumar wrote, “Shocked and shattered on hearing the untimely demise of my good friend, great human being, philanthropist Mayilsamy. Deeply saddened. My heartfelt condolences to his family, relative, friends and colleagues of the film industry RipMayilsamy.
Actor Sakshi Aggarwal amid condoling the sad demise of Maylisamy wrote, “Shocked to hear the news. Your sense of humor and positive attitude always filled the shooting spot with laughter and happiness.. RIP Mayilsamy Sir. Condolences to family and friends.
