It is learnt that Maleesha Kharwa met with American actor Robert Hoffman, who was stuck in Mumbai amid lockdown and decided to shoot a video featuring slum children. He met Maleesha during an audition. On hearing about her dream to become a model, he decided to be her manager.
Maleesha is another emerging star who lives barely a stone’s throw from Galaxy Apartments, the home to actor Salman Khan.
Maleesha lives in a shanty devoid of approachable road and one need to walk over boulders at Bandstand Promenade to reach the 12×15 foot shanty at the edge of the Arabian Sea. This happens to be the place where Maleesha was brought up.
