Not many may probably be aware that way back in 2015, Deepika Padukone had once met ace Wimbledon Novak Djokovic over a dinner date back. Years later, his ex-girlfriend made a shocking allegation over their alleged affair.

However, a British tabloid once failed to recognise her after she was spotted with Wimbledon ace on a dinner date.

At that time around, their meeting headlined in the tabloid which failed to recognise Deepika and referred her as Novak’s “female companion. Their meeting also sparked rumours on them dating but soon fizzled out.

Apparently, Deepika Padukone is friends with his wife, Jelena and both clicked together at Wimbledon 2015, where Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer to emerge a champion. While their meeting went unnoticed, his ex-girlfriend Natasa Bekvala claimed that Deepika Padukone had a secret affair with him.

As per Natasa’s revelations in a tabloid, Novak would have been happy had he stuck with Deepika.

However, none of her claims stands confirmed, as there are no official statements from Deepika and Novak about the allegations. But, the Jawan actress once spoke on her meeting with Novak Djokovic amid a conversation with a tabloid.

According to Deepika Padukone she thinks it’s very exciting to meet people who are champions and are so talented at what they do. She has learnt so much. Deepika, who has also met Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in the last few years, mentions that she picked up quite a lot from them. “There’s so much similarity, as far as sport is concerned. She thinks that she has been that person who takes a lot from sport and uses it in everyday life.
