And now in a bid to lure maximum audiences into the cinema houses, PVR, the leading multiplex chain in India, tries its best to lure the maximum number of audiences into the theaters with its new offers.
Following few changes in the Food and Beverage rates recently, the PVR Cinemas, now known as PVR Inox Pictures has given a new weekday pass where the public can watch 10 movies for RS 600 in a month.
But, the offer has a condition, as it is a weekday pass, it is available only on weekdays such as. Monday to Thursday. This new weekday offer would certainly draw more audiences to the theaters.
On a complaint by a Journalist,
Tridip K Mandal, PVR, recently, has acted in the rates of F&B. The Journalist was very much concerned over the exorbitant costs of snacks and beverages offered at the multiplex.
Moviegoers have long been concerned over the high costs of these food items for a longtime, which impacts their ability to enjoy their movie experience fully. The public has shown their appreciation for PVR’s decision to address this issue.
The journalist, expressed his discontent on Twitter after paying a staggering ₹820 for a mere 55 grams of cheese popcorn and a 600ml Pepsi at PVR Cinemas in Noida. He compared this expense to an entire year’s subscription cost to a popular OTT platform, highlighting the glaring price disparity. His tweet went viral on social media and eventually, PVR had to step in to amend the situation.
