Farheen Prabhakar had
dubbed ‘Madhuri No 2’, shared screen space with Akshay Kumar and left acting at her peak to marry star India cricketer, Manoj Prabhakar.
When Farheen stepped into Bollywood, she was compared to superstar Madhuri Dixit, because of her strong resemblance to the actress.
There are many actors who after starting their career in films in the 90s and are still ruling the roost.
Farheen co-starred with Akshay Kumar in ‘Sainik’ and had made her debut with ‘ the 1992 released film Jaan Tere Naam’.
Farheen emerged popular after the release of ‘Jaan Tere Naam’ in 1992 and the media used to hail her as ‘Madhuri Dixit No.2’.
The actress grew up in a broken family and wanted to lead a happy wedded life and that precisely was the prime reason for her to give up acting and to concentrate completely on her family.
As per a news channel report Farheen had once revealed the reason behind her decision to marry Manoj Prabhakar and in the midst of her interview with the news channel Farheen revealed that when she was young she had made a decision to marry a Hindu because she had no faith in Muslim men despite being a muslim. Her father had married thrice.
Farheen is now 50 and is living a happy life away from Bollywood with Manoj Prabhakar who has turned a businessman after retiring from first class crickert.
