Vidhu Vinod Chopra, 12th Fail director had ‘Gifted Amitabh Bachchan with a Rs 4.5 crore Rolls Royce because he tolerated him.
The filmmaker recalled working with Bachchan on their 2007 collaboration ‘Eklavya: The Royal Guard’ and how he gifted him the swanky car
Chopra revealed, in an interview that when he was shooting for Eklavya, Amitabh Bachchan came to the sets with one suitcase for a schedule of two months. Chopra had asked, him Amit, you travel very light?’ to which he said, ‘No, Jaya told him ‘more than one week you cannot stand Vinod.
He went on to add that because he did not leave and completed the entire film, and tolerated him, he gifted him a Rolls Royce worth Rs 4.5 crore, and complimented him for doing a great work in the film.
Amidst the festival season-Diwali 12th Fail continues to perform well and it’s about to cross the mark of 30 Cr at the box-office.
