Sudhaa Chandran opens up on biggest challenge she faced amid shoot for Doree in Varanasi
No doubt Sudhaa Chandran is a much talented actress. She is a very natural actress and before she essays the character she goes deep into it to make it look authentic.
Recently, the actress opened up on a particular sequence in Colors Doree, and shares that “Varanasi holds a very special place in her heart and while she has visited the city multiple time the experience of shooting for Doree made it quite memorable.
She added that when the creative team narrated that she had to take a dip in the Ganga for a particular scene, she was immediately reminded of a terrifying incident.
Years ago, she had stepped into a water body and slipped. She couldn’t find a foothold and was screaming for help and thankfully was rescued in time but she has this fear of drowning. So, she had her inhibitions while shooting in the Ganga for Doree and the uncertainty of the water’s density, flow, and depth added to her anxiety.
