ED serves notice to Gauri Khan in Brand endorsing and Rs 30 crore embezzling case

News comes to the fore that on Tuesday, the Enforcement Directorate served Notice to Gauri Khan, brand ambassador of Lucknow-based real estate company Tulsiani Group.
She is also a film producer and an interior designer of repute.

This comes while hubby actor Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of ‘Dunki’

It is learnt that the Enforcement Directorate is initiating action to probe Shah Rukh Khan’s wife over her financial dealings.

Reportedly, the officials will investigate various aspects of the case as how much money Gauri received to become the brand ambassador of the Tulsiani group.

There will be scrutiny and they will look for the information regarding the contracts made for the position of the company’s brand ambassador and also for other documents.

Gauri might also receive summon by the ED in the case. She is yet to respond to the notice.

As per a media reports, in a project in Lucknow by the Tulsiani Group called Sushant Golf City, a Mumbai-based person Kirit Jaswant Shah purchased a flat for Rs 85 lakh in 2015.

However, Shah didn’t get possession of the flat and his money was also not refined. Shah filed a complaint against the directors of Tulsiani Group, namely Anil Kumar Tulsiani, Mahesh Tulsiani, and brand ambassador Gauri.

Reportedly, in March 2023,
Shah filed an FIR against the three of them. In the complaint, Shah alleged, that he visited the company’s office in Sushant Golf City the same year and met its directors and agreed to buy a flat worth Rs 86 lakh. He was assured that he would get the flat’s possession in 2016. But since then a lot of time has elapsed and he is yet to get the flat.Later, he found out that the agreement of the flat booked by me had been transferred by the company to somebody else.
