Bimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, ‘King of Ayodhya’, or ‘Raja’ also a member of the Ram Janmabhoomi Theertha Kshetra Trust, said that he had never thought that Ram temple would be built in his lifetime but now with Ram Lalla’s consecration, the temple town will regain its lost grandeur.
He also added that he never thought that he would be a witness to Prabhu Ram’s ‘pran pratishtha’ in his lifetime.
Ayodhya had turned dull, all its glory had faded away. It is said that after questions were raised on her integrity after her return from Lanka, Mata Sita had cursed Ayodhya that no one would remain happy in the temple town. She again went into exile. It seems that the curse has been removed now,” said Mishra, who is affectionately called ‘Pappu Raja’ or ‘Pappu Bhaiyya’ by residents.
Mishra, had unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha election on a BSP ticket in 2019, he had said that Ayodhya is on its way to emerging as one of the greatest places in the world in terms of religious and tourist destinations.
All aircrafts landing at Maharishi Valmiki International Ayodhya Airport (MVIAA) have full occupancy.
Soon, the state government will also launch helicopter service that will boost tourism. Influx of pilgrims and tourists will increase business and employment opportunities.”
He also aid that after ‘pran pratishtha’, over one lakh pilgrims would visit Ayodhya everyday. Adding that to handle the pressure, roads have been widened, railway stations and bus depots have been expanded.
