PM Modi sees BJP’s win of 370 seats in Lok Sabha polls
In the midst of a meet with top ministers to discuss government’s strategy in parliament, PM Modi recently, he made it known that BJP will alone get 370 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, adding that the Opposition has “failed as an Opposition” and has decided to remain in the same position for a long period to come.
It was his reply to the Motion of Thanks on Presidential address delivered in the Parliament.
He went on to add that he appreciates the Opposition’s resolve to remain in the opposition for a long time…
The way they sat here (in government) for many decades, the same way they will resolve to sit there (in Opposition). The public will certainly give them its blessings.
As per him, the Opposition failed to fulfill its responsibility. He has always said that the country needs a good Opposition.
