Radhika Apte, who did ‘Legend’ and ‘Lion’ in Telugu, has expressed her anti-Tollywood views yet again.
She always been headlining for many good reasons and not into any controversy.
In her latest interview, the Bollywood actress dubbed the Telugu film industry as a male chauvinist paradise.
The actress goes on to add that the Telugu film industry unlike the South Indian Film Industry, is a male chauvinist paradise.
Her experience seems to be an unbearable one.
She further adds that on screen they project women as godly figures but on shooting sets, female actresses are not respected. To be frank enough, it is predominately a male-dominated industry. Adding that she had decided to quit the industry for the aforementioned reasons.
On the workfront, recently, the actress was seen in a cameo in the Hindi film ‘Merry Christmas’. Her few other recent projects are ‘Vikram Vedha’, ‘Monica,
O My Darling’, and
‘Mrs Undercover’ are among her other recent Hindi projects.
She is well-recognised for
‘Pad Man’, ‘Andhadhun’ and a few other Bollywood outings.
