FWICE Prez BN Tiwari calls for optional holiday in Mumbai

On the grounds of the Polling Day in Mumbai, BN Tiwari,
President of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has taken a preemptive step towards advocating democratic partaking
by calling for an optional holiday on the upcoming polling day in Mumbai.
This decision is taken with an intention to foster all cine and television workers to exercise their fundamental right to vote sans any deterrent.
MoreoverTiwari cited that if anyone desires to work on the Polling day in Mumbai, he or she will have to cast their vote and then come for the shoot. The Federation’s volunteers will check before they start to work.
Furthermore to individual responsibility, Tiwari also asked producers to monitor voting amid technicians.
Tiwari also articulated that the producers must even ensure that all the technicians who work on the polling day exercise their voting rights.
