Producer Ektaa Kapoor lauded director Priyadarshan in a heartfelt Instagram note following the success of their film Bhooth Bangla, which grossed over ₹231 crore globally. She hailed it as the biggest hit of her career, highlighting the filmmaker’s professionalism, unique “producer-first” philosophy, and their intense mutual respect regardless past disagreements.
Ektaa emphasized, “she doesn’t think she had more fun working with anyone than Priyan sir”.
She revealed that Priyadarshan’s first concern was always, “Ekta, are you making money on this film?”
Despite being “two headstrong people,” their collaboration was defined by deep mutual respect, she noted. She thanked him for his vision, discipline, and for delivering the biggest success of her career.
