PM Modi condemns recent missile attacks on UAE

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the recent missile attacks on the United Arab Emirates (UAE)—specifically targeting the Fujairah petroleum zone resulting in injuries to three Indian nationals, stating that such actions are “unacceptable”.

PM Modi reaffirmed that India stands in firm solidarity with the UAE and emphasized that the solution to the escalating Hormuz crisis must be found only through dialogue and diplomacy.
Three Indians were injured in a strike on Fujairah, a key energy hub in the UAE.

PM Modi described the targeting of civilians and infrastructure as an “unacceptable” violation.
India has urged an immediate cessation of hostilities, calling for peace, stability, and dialogue in West Asia.
India highlighted that keeping the Strait of Hormuz open for free, safe, and unimpeded navigation is crucial for regional peace and global energy security.This response is based on the reports from early May 2026 regarding the escalating tensions in the region.
