After Shah Rukh Khan reportedly stepped away due to scheduling conflicts, the makers of Jailer 2 have approached Hrithik Roshan for
high-octane, special appearance that steps in to help Rajinikanth’s character (Muthuvel Pandian) when he finds himself in dire trouble.
Discussions are underway, but the makers have not yet officially confirmed if Hrithik Roshan has signed on.The Film: Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 has already wrapped up major shooting schedules and is eyeing a theatrical release in September 2026.
In addition to Rajinikanth, the film reportedly stars Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, with Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar also expected to reprise their roles from the first movie.
