Peddi crosses ₹100 crore net in India in 3 days

Veteran actor Ram Charan’s “Peddi” crossed the ₹100 crore net mark in India in just three days, propelled by ₹18.50 crore from paid previews and a massive ₹51 crore on its first full day. The Telugu version spearheaded this milestone with over ₹47 crore on day one, while the Hindi and other language versions delivered smaller contributions. This pace marks one of the fastest climbs to the milestone in the actor’s career, positioning the film as the second-biggest opener of 2026 behind only Dhurandhar 2. Its opening day earnings notably surpassed those of Dhurandhar Bhoot Bangla and Raja Shivaji

Regional data reveals Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as the strongest drivers of this success, with Hyderabad alone contributing over ₹24 crore in gross collections. On day two, Telugu screenings maintained a robust turnout of ₹23.39 crore, compared to ₹0.02 crore from Hindi shows, highlighting the film’s core market dominance. Although occupancy saw a standard post-opening dip, the Telugu version maintained exceptionally strong momentum in key centers like Visakhapatnam and Kakinada.
