In an ongoing property dispute concerning Salman Khan’s Panvel farmhouse, the Bombay High Court has directed the neighbour, Ketan Kakkad, to consider deleting disputed online material. Justice Sharmila Deshmukh emphasized that social media platforms are not a license to defame public figures or private citizens. While Kakkad alleges environmental violations and blocked property access, Khan contends the posts are defamatory and communally provocative.
The matter has been adjourned to July 6 for further proceedings.
