Veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt returns as the presenter for the gritty action thriller “Naam”
To live is War. While the title nods to Bhatt’s 1986 hit, the film is an entirely original script, not a remake.
Veer Pahariya features as an intense, angry young man with grey shades. Varun Sharma takes on the role of the fierce rival.
The film will feature a strong emotional love story propelled by melodious music.
Casting is currently underway and the lead actress will be announced soon.
As for the backstage scenes the
project is directed by Sidhaanth Sachdev, who was earlier associated as an assistant director under the Bhatt camp on hit films like : Aashiqui 2 and
k Villian. The original script was penned by Sachdev alongside Suhrita Das and Shweta Bothra.
The film is being produced by Riddhi Chawda and Utsav Upadhyay under Utsav Entertainment and Productions, with Alphaneon Studioz on board as the studio partner.
Bhatt expressed deep confidence in the youthful energy of the team. Speaking about the first-time producers and the lead cast, he emphasized. This is a business
that demands his field is about
attitude more than attitude. Regarding director Sachdev,
Bhatt added that though he wants the filmmaker to be fiercely committed to his vision, he must understand the necessity of completing the film within the sanctioned budget.
