It has to be admitted that it is the children of labourer parents living in shanty colony who come up and take care of their parents and give them a life to lead never expected by them.

Thus is the case of Divya Tanwar, daughter of Mother who worked as Labourer.

Divya Tanwar took up a challenge and at the age of 21
cleared the UPSC exam in her first attempt.

She had secured 438th rank and was posted as an IPS officer. However, it was her dream to be an IAS officer. So, she continued her preparations and secured 105th rank and became an IAS Officer and did her parents proud.

Divya recalled that there was a time when her mother worked as a labourer to pay for her education. After the death of her father, her mother worked hard to run the family and prayed for her daughter to fulfil her ambition.

Finally, her mother’s prayers have been heard and she has secured All India Rank (AIR) 105th rank in UPSC 2022, the results of which were declared on Tuesday.

Now IPS Divya Tanwar gears up to become an IAS officer.
