Ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, BJP’s election machinery has been prepping not only for the upcoming assembly polls but is as focused on the panchayat elections in West Bengal.
In April 2017, three years following its thumping majority the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and had its chief ministers in 13 states, the then party president Amit Shah made it known to the cadre that the party must win “from Panchayat to Parliament”.
This has laid the ground for the upcoming electoral battles, which Shah said, must herald “the BJP’s golden era.”
