Heavy rains in Mumbai to reduce gradually

Mumbai has been experiencing heavy rains with some isolated very heavy spells for the past few days. During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, Mumbai recorded 101 mm of rains in the last 24 hours.

Reportedly, the financial hub has already outreached its monthly normal of 919.9 mm and the total rainfall recorded stands at 1291 mm.

News from the weather bureau predicts that Mumbai The city receive moderate to heavy rains on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thereafter rainfall activity is expected to reduce with moderate showers between July 27 and 29.

Rains will be seen every day but the intensity will keep on reducing. After July 29, rains will further reduce and finally pick up in the initial days of August.

Meanwhile, Mumbai surpasses 1000 mm mark in July.
