CM Eknath Shinde condemns Uddhav Thackeray at Dussehra event
Amidst addressing the mega event on Saturday evening, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde articulated that, “Balasaheb Thackeray gave the slogan
‘garv se ka ho hum Hindu hain’ (say with pride that we are Hindu). But some people are shy to say this now. They are proud to say these slogans.
Eknath Shinde called the Mahayuti alliance’s Lok Sabha election result in Maharashtra an aberration and said they would win by a big margin in the upcoming state election.
“The success MVA got in Lok Sabha was accidental. What happened in Haryana will happen in Maharashtra,” he said.
The MVA won 30 out of 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra, while the BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP combine could manage 17.
