Following the unprecedented box-office success of the
Prasanth Varma directorial “HanuMan” featuring Teja Sajja,makers are launching its sequel
“Jai Hanuman” with Rishab Shetty and Rana Daggubati to be directed by Prasanth Varma. The grand launch event of the film is expected to take place on February 22, 2026 in the historic town of Hampi. It’s further learned that filmmaker Prasanth Varma has also completed the movie’s pre-production and scripting work. Reportedly shoot fot the film.kicks-off ok reported to begin in April 2026.
About ‘Jai Hanuman’
it will revolve around Lord Hanuman, with Rishab Shetty essaying the role of the deity. It will also feature Rana Daggubati. Its prequel, ‘HanuMan’ includes Teja Sajja, whose character receives some powers like those of Lord Hanuman, which he uses to defend villagers from adversaries. He is also expected to make a special appearance in the film.
Rishab Shetty.was last seen in the 2025 blockbuster, ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ directed and led by the actor himself. In the film he features as the fierce warrior Berme, the central protagonist defending his tribal land against the invading Kadamba kingdom.
