Sanjay Dutt visits Salim Khan at Lilavati Hospital- extends support to family

Actor Sanjay Dutt visited Salim Khan admitted to Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday morning, prompting concern from the film industry and his close network. Sanjay Dutt who shares a close bond with the Khan family, entered the premises in a black-and-white printed shirt and jeans. He spent about half an hour inside before leaving without making any statement to the media.

The 90-year-old is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit, though no official update on his condition has been released by the family or hospital. News of his hospitalisation quickly drew attention from industry colleagues and well-wishers who have followed his influential career.

Salim Khan’s family has remained by his side since his admission – Salman Khan, along with his mother Salma Khan, Helen, and siblings Arpita Khan, Ayush Sharma, Alvira Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sshura Khan, Arhaan Khan, Nirvan Khan, Ayaan Agnihotri, and Iulia Vantur, have all been present at the hospital, highlighting the concern for his health.
Salim Khan is regarded as one of the most influential figures in Hindi cinema. Alongside Javed Akhtar, as the writing duo Salim-Javed, he helped shape Bollywood in the 1970s and 1980s, creating iconic films such as Sholay, Zanjeer, Deewaar, and Trishul.

Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan have long shared a close personal and professional relationship, often referring to each other as brothers. Their collaboration includes films like Saajan, Chal Mere Bhai, Yeh Hai Jalwa, and co-hosting the fifth season of Bigg Boss.
