DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade : ANC Worli unit seizes 1kg 321gms ‘charas’ worth Rs 39,63,000 .
The DCP of the mumbai police Anti-Narcotics cell Datta Nalawade informs that on the 17th of February, the Anti Narcotics cell Worli unit executed 2 raids at different location on the basis of tip offs.
1st operation
Accused Iqbal Bilal Shaikh aged 28 years was caught on suspicion by a raid team at Gazi masjid, Rafik Nagar part 2, Shivaji Nagar, Govandi, mumbai. According to intel the accused had a certain amount of hashish on him. On interception he was found with about 1 KG and 177 grams of charas .
2nd operation
Iqbal Bilal Shaikh led to another accused Jahangir Nasim Ahmed Khan aged 30 years was caught at a similar location which is plot no.40, 90 feet road, Shivaji Nagar, Govandi, Mumbai. On interception he was found with another 144 grams of charas.
Both catches bring the contraband amount to 1 kg 321 grams which was worth about Rs. 39,63,000 .
