Actress-model Shweta Tripathi stages a comeback to the stage alongside her husband, actor-rapper Chaitnya Sharma, in the play “External Affairs”. The Akarsh Khurana directorial is produced by Akvarious Productions and the project marks the first time the real-life couple portraying a romantic pair on stage.The upcoming production holds special significance for the duo.
It reunites them in the same medium where they first met and fell in love amidst rehearsals 13 years ago.
Written by Bobby Nagra, the play explores modern-day themes such as trendy anxiety, digital distraction, transactional relationships, and the chaos caused by the arrival of toxic exes. Alongside Shweta Tripathi and Chaitnya Sharma, the production features a stellar cast including Abhinav Sharma and Garima Yajnik.
