Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Mumbai today 19 Jan which is his first visit after the formation of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis BJP Government

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Mumbai predominantly to inaugurate the 2A 7 Mumbai Metro lines Dahisar-D.N and Dahisar Andheri East (Gundavalli).

Subsequently he will also inaugurate the Navi Mumbai Metro,handled and owned by the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO).

 

He will also be addressing rally in MMRDA Grounds BKC.

Apart, PM will also inaugurate the 38,000 crore infra projects for cancer hospital in Thane, roads and a sewage treatment plant.

PM Modi will also announce the launch the National Common Mobility Card and MUMBAI 1 mobile app, which can be used at Metro stations to facilitate ease of travel.

PM Modi will start the road concretisation project for around 400 km of roads in Mumbai, that will cost the government Rs 6,100 crore.

Thereafter he will inaugurate Seven sewage treatment plans worth Rs 17,200 crore as well. They are located in Malad, Bhandup, Versova, Ghatkopar, Bandra, Dharavi and Worli.

He will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of three hospitals and inaugurate a new healthcare initiative aimed at providing essential medical services for free.

Finally, the prime minister will launch the redevelopment project for the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus set to cost Rs 1,800 crore.

He will also announce of small business loans.

Speaking to Nation Now Ganesh of BMC explained that many roads in Mumbai are in deteriorating condition and with PM visiting Mumbai, it is hoped he will take up the issue and do the needful and do justice like he has done it in other states.
