DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade: Rs 50 lakhs worth charas seized from Versova, one arrested
Mumbai Police DCP ANC anti narcotics cell Datta Nalawade informed that Rs 50 lakhs worth charas seized from Versova, one arrested. The arrested accused named Gautam Dilip Datta a resident of Versova Macchimar Society, Juhu-Versova Link Road. The arrest and investigation was actioned by the Bandra unit of ANC- anti-narcotic cell. Case has been registered CR 78/2021, relevant sections of the NDPS act has been affected and further investigations are on.
The Bandra Unit of ANC under the leadership of Sanjay Chavan has been instrumental in busting drug peddlars on a regular basis. Along with Mr Sanjay Chavan the other officers who effected the arrests are Sushant Bhandgar, Suresh Bhoye, Shreekant Karkare, Mandare, Khare and Nimgire. Further investigations are underway.
