DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade: Rs 55 Lakhs worth MD Drug-Mephedrone seized Nigerian arrested
Mumbai Police, DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade informed that Rs 55 Lakhs worth MD Drug-Mephedrone seized Nigerian arrested. The arrest was effected by Worli unit of the ANC- Anti Narcotics cell. Case has been registered 82/2021, various sections of NDPS act have been applied. The arrested Nigerian National was residing at Diva- Thane District. The crime was committed and Nigerian National named Uche Bartholomew Ihuarulam was nabbed at Sewri-Wadala rd, Mumbai.
The Worli ANC- Anti Narcotics Cell headed by Police Officer Deepak Chavan, Sudarshan Chavan, Amol Kolekar, Ravindra Sawant and other officers of Worli Unit actualized the arrest.

Mephedrone administration caused about a 500% increase in dopamine, and about a 950% increase in serotonin. They reached their peak concentrations at 40 minutes and 20 minutes, respectively, and returned to baseline by 120 minutes after injection. In comparison, MDMA caused a roughly 900% increase in serotonin at 40 minutes, with an insignificant increase in dopamine. Amphetamine administration resulted in about a 400% increase in dopamine, peaking at 40 minutes, with an insignificant increase in serotonin. Both Dopamine and serotonin induces increased sexual urges, functioning over a longer period of time.
