DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade: 3.11 kg MD worth Rs 4.67 crores seized by ANC Azad maidan unit

Mumbai Police DCP Anti Narcotics Cell Datta Nalawade informed that ANC Azad maidan unit  seized MD Mephedrone drugs in a huge quantity about 3 kilos and 110 grams  worth about Rs. 4,66,50,000 /- on 24th of March, 2022.

The person caught with the contraband is believed to be Indian in nationality. The accused arresteds name is Aashiq Ali Firoz Poiserwalla roughly about 33 years old.

On a tip off by a known source, the Azad maidan unit officers found the accused suspicious and on intercepting seized a small amount of Mephedrone, after raiding his house he was caught with about 2 and a half kg more Mephedrone.

The accused is now arrested Under  NDPS act for possession  of commercial quantity of mephedrone. ANC Azad Maidan officers involved in the operation-are  Incharge Rajendra Dahifale, Mansinh Kale , Abhijeet Patil, Amit Deokar and others
