Mumbai Police : MD- Mephedrone factory busted in Gujarat, drugs worth Rs.1026 crores seized.
Mumbai Police Narcotics DCP Datta Nalawade informed that the ANC i.e the anti narcotic cell which is headed by him had a joint operation and ended up busting a huge factory producing mephedrone. The factory was busted in Gujarat.
A Total of 7 people were arrested of which 6 were male and 1 was female
The joint operation took a while to conduct but on the basis of investigation of an earlier case CR/25/2022. They found the factory and busted about a total of more than 513 kilos mephedrone worth more than 1026 crores. They also found chemical raw material in high quantity about 792 kilos of “white powder” and 397 kilos of some brown colored crystal mix

2) Aayub Izhar ahmed shaikh, age 33 yr.
3) Reshma sanjaykumar chandan, age 49 yr.
4) Riyaz abdul sattar Memon, age 43 yr.
5) Premprakash parasnath singh, age 6)Giriraj Dikshit
The name of the accused woman is not mentioned as per the press note
The following accused are facing commercial charges of drug trafficking under the NDPS act
A total of Rs 2,437 Crores worth Mephedrone MD drug, has been seized in this particular case CR/25/2022 registered on 29/3/22
