After the recent bomb threat on Moscow-Goa Flight, now news comes to the fore that the Dhirubhai Ambani School in BKC has received bomb threat via phone call.
As per sources, the local police were informed, and the school was scanned by the bomb detection and disposal squad (BDDS), but no bomb was detected.
The BKC police has registered an FIR against the unknown caller for the bomb threat to the school’s landline number and claimed plant of a time bomb inside the school and abruptly disconnected the call.
The call created panic in the school yesterday Tuesday as it was made at around 4:30 p.m.
As per the complaint made by the school, the second call was then made by the caller at the gate of the school, where he claimed his name as Gujarat based Vikram Singh
He revealed that in a bid to become famous he made the threat call despite being aware that the media would run his name and the police would arrest him and he would be famous overnight.
The caller also shared his Aadhar and PAN card with the school to confirm his identity.
Based on the identity card details, the BKC police station has registered an FIR against Singh, and a further probe is being conducted to trace the accused.
