“The Romantics” which streams on Netflix profiles the legend Yash Chopra in four episodes. It could only happen since the platform gave complete creative control to Yash Chopra’s son Aditya Chopra, the scion of the Yash Raj family.

A close source connected to the project reveals, had it not been for Adi’s nod, the project wouldn’t have happened.
He not only gave the green signal to the project, but, also personally supervised every aspect of the project.

Whereas Smriti Mundhra helms “The Romantics”, it is Adi who decided what goes, and what not.

Notably, the trailer of “The Romantics” trailer is out with Aditya Chopra having recorded his first on-camera interview, celebrating father Yash Chopra & YRF’s legacy.

Obviously, Adi Chopra had personally approved the thirty five interviewees speaking on Yash Chopra in the project.
Adi also agreed to do his first video interview ever for the docu-pic on his distinguished dad.

Adi Chopra’s one and only print interview was with film critic/editor Khalid Mohamed.
