Legend Amitabh Bachchan feels venerated to be in identical cadre with ‘idol’ Prabhas in ‘Project K’
Bollywood Legend Amitabh Bachchan feels venerated to be in identical cadre with ‘idol’ Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the Nag Ashwin’s Project K’ touted one of the biggest offerings in Indian cinema.
Reportedly, the film’s title, trailer and release date will be unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2023 on July 20, 2023.
Notably, ‘Project K’ is the first Indian movie ever to fetch this honour. Following an official announcement Amitabh Bachchan shared a note on his Twitter handle.
Taking to his twitter handle, Amitabh Bachchan wrote,
“T 4698 – I am honoured and have had the great privilege of being a part of this great enterprise in Telugu Cinema , ‘Project K’ and to have had the huge honour of being in the same frame of the Idol , Prabhas .. Thank you all .. and thank you Nagi Sir, for thinking of me .. The humility , the respect and the concern Prabhas has given me has been so so touching & emotional .. Not for me , but for all those involved in ‘Project K’ , may your hard work touch new horizons .. love and prayers (sic).”
In an official statement, Nag Ashwin expressed his excitement saying that “India is the home of some of the greatest lore and superheroes ever written. We feel that our film is an attempt to bring out and share this with the world. And Comic Con gives us the perfect stage to introduce our story to a global audience.”
Meanwhile, the film is scheduled for theatrical release in 2024.
