Navika Kotia, had essayed the role as late Sridevi’s daughter Sapna in “English Vinglish”. She now makes her television debut with Kyunki …Saas Maa, Bahu Beti Hoti Hai as the affable and ambitious Kesar who believes in the mantra, ‘You either win, or you learn’. She is elated to have bagged her first lead role on the small screen.

Elaborating on her character, Navika says, “Kesar is someone who knows how to balance her life when it comes to family and career. And she strongly identifys with her never-give-up attitude as it mirrors her own approach to life, further adding that when she heard the script and character’s details, she knew this is what she ad been looking for.
