Anand Mahindra reacts to old video of BBC anchor for questioning India’s space program

Now after ISRO’s :Chandrayan 3 made a successful touch down on the Moon, he remembered a BBC anchor over an old video that resurfaced on social media. The video showed the BBC anchor questioning the need for India to spend a significant amount of money on its space program.
Reacting to the anchor’s question, Anand Mahindra emphasized that India’s poverty is, to a large extent, a consequence of colonial rule, which exploited the wealth of the subcontinent. He stated that the most significant loss suffered by India was not the Kohinoor Diamond, but its pride and belief in its own capabilities.
