BJP worker Aswanth Pijai makes PM Modi emotional at Chennai airport
When PM Modi landed at the Chennai Airport on Monday, he was received by BJP Worker Aswanth Pijal. But when Aswanth told him that his wife had just delivered and instead of going to the hospital to see the face of the newborn and the mother, he had come to receive him. This made PM Modi turn emotional.
Taking to his social media post, PM Modi wrote that he appreciates the young worker and saying it was “heartening to see” that the party had such “dedicated and devoted karyakartas”. For Aswanth it was duty first.
PM Modi also added that it was a very special interaction and he told Aswanth that he shouldn’t have come here and also conveyed his blessings to him and his family.
