Huma Qureshi kicks-off shoot for “Gulabi” in Ahmedabad

Huma Qureshi announces that she has commenced shooting for her next film, Gulabi in Ahmedabad. Huma set to return in season two of Maharani, posted a picture and wrote, “Gulabi is here !!! Filming Now …”

In the Vipul Mehta directorial, Huma essays the role of auto driver. She was last seen in Tarla, a biopic of Tarla Dalal, a known author of cook-books and host of cooking shows.

Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios and Vishal Rana of Echelon Productions produce the film.

Producer Vishal Rana further revealed that they are thrilled to start shooting and through this film, their aim is to deliver a great content-driven film for the audience they can resonate with. Huma, has delivered some great performances in her career, and once again she is to create some magic on screen Rana in a statement revealed.

The movie is based on a true story. Vipul Mehta’s last project was the Nana Patekar starrer Marathi film, Ole Aale which he had written and directed the film.
