above-normal temperature on New Year’s Eve
In a respite amidst the night, as per scientists Mumbai’s minimum temperature is expected to drop.
Following a cool spell, Mumbai embraced the New Year on Wednesday with above normal day- and night-time temperatures with the minimum temperature soaring over 20 degree Celsius, close to four degrees above normal.
As per scientists at the IMD, Mumbai’s maximum temperature is slated to register a significant spike over the next couple of days with the maximum temperature forecast to touch up to 36 to 37 degree Celsius.
