Opening the batting, the 15-year-old dismantled the GT bowling attack with a staggering 97 runs off just 29 balls. The emotional moment occurred when he was dismissed just three runs short of a historic century, narrowly missing out on breaking Chris Gayle’s record for the fastest IPL century.
Visibly heartbroken by the team’s exit and missing the milestone, the young star was moved to tears in the dugout.
