Kasautii Zindagii Kay writer Mahesh Pandey arrested in cheating case
News comes to the fore that Amboli Police arrested television script writer Mahesh Pandey of Kasautii Zindagii Kay fame for allegedly cheating a film producer to the tune of
Rs.2.65 crores by violating an agreement. Though he is out on bail, a lookout notice has been issued against Pandey’s wife, allegedly involved in the case.
Reportedly, the complaint was lodged by Producer Jatin Sethi who has allegedly accused Pandey for violation of the terms and conditions of a joint project.
As per Sethi’s allegations, Pandey received payment from Prasar Bharti assuring him that Rs.2.65 crores would be credited to Sethi’s bank account. Ironically on various pretexts he hasn’t credited the amount in Sethi’s bank account.
According to Sethi, accused Pandey has also created a fake email ID to show that he has sent emails to Sethi’s broadcaster regarding the payment, but, instead, used the funds himself.
