Unquestionably, it was the one and only filmmaker Prakash Mehra to have cast Amitabh Bachchan in his 1973 released film “Zanjeer” with Jaya Bhaduri Pran. The film proved to be a
blockbuster success and Amitabh Bachchan got the title ‘Angry young man’. After this there wasn’t any looking back for Amitabh Bachchan.
