IAS officers Radhika and Vikas Rastogi’s daughter commits suicide
It comes as a saddening and shocking news of the suicidal death of 27-year-old Lipi Rastogi, daughter of senior bureaucrats Maharashtra cadre IAS officers Radhika and Vikas Rastogi.
It is learnt that she died after jumping off a Mumbai high-rise.
She was rushed to was taken to hospital but died in the midst of treatment.
According to Officials Lipi, a law student, took a leap from the 10th floor of a building near the state secretariat. A note was found in her room.
Reportedly, she was studying law in Haryana’s Sonepat and police officers believe she was anxious about exams.
Vikas Rastogi is Principal Secretary in Maharashtra’s Education Department, while Radhika Rastogi is Principal Secretary in the state’s Home Department.
In a similar case in 2017, Maharashtra cadre IAS officers Milind and Manisha Mhaiskar lost their 18-year-old son after he jumped off a Mumbai high-rise.
