Inarguably Sharmila Tagore is reckoned as one of the supreme actresses during her era in the history of Indian cinema. A Padma Bhushan awardee for her contribution to Indian Cinema, recently recounted on the stars from her time who didn’t value time.
Citing examples of actors from her time the veteran star shared how things considering time have transformed in Bollywood.
Elaborating about it in detail, Sharmila went on to add that the Hindi Cinema is far more disciplined, “Even if you are Ranveer Singh or Ranbir Kapoor, you will be reconsidered (in a film) if you are late.
In a recent media interaction, Sharmila revealed, that Shashi Kapoor was the first one who was on time and Amitabh went a little ahead because he would be the first to arrive before anybody else, even before the cleaners. As far as Sanjeev Kumar is concerned, you could only suggest time to him;.even Rajesh Khanna used to be late.
The veteran actress articulated that actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh will be reconsidered if they are tardy like yesteryear’s actors, singling out Rajesh Khanna and Sanjeev Kumar.
