Sufi Islamic Board hosts get-together of 200 NGos to Sufism at Mahim Dargah

Sufi Islamic Board hosted a
Get-together named Hubal Watni on Wednesday night 22 November at Mahim Dargah.

Notably, the get-together saw an attendance by more than 200 Muslim NGO’s.

The prime motive of this
get-together was to generate awareness among the people on patriotism and to succeed in the forthcoming ‘Sadbhavna’ event being organised by Indian Minority front on 27 November at Birla Matoshri Sabhagar, Marine lines.

In the midst of addressing the people Suhail Khandwani, Mahim Dargah Trustee affirmed
that Sufism is a very old culture and we should support this cause. And since we believe in peace and humanity my support to this event continues.

Suhail Khandwani further elaborated that Sufi Islamic Board as an Indian Minority front, is doing a commendable job, and our country needs a good healthy environment and we all should work together towards the growth of our country.

Another guest Nizami from Delhi’s Nizamuddin Dargah also addressed the audience and made an appeal to all to unite and promote Sufism.

Our country is so vibrant and beautiful and we believe in the sacred rivers Ganga Jamuna.

This get-together was attended by various NGO’s that included Women too such as Shaida Drabaar From Green Peace, Sadia Merchant from Parvaz Foundation, Imran Mulla from Nekza Entertainment,etc.,

Mr Faisal Banaraswala from Sufi Islamic Board anchored the entire event and introduced each and everyone and gave vote of thanks.

Mr Faisal also appealed to all to make it a point to attend the Sadbhavna event and make it a grand success.
