Kareena Kapoor Khan is in advanced talks to reunite with Salman Khan for an upcoming untitled superhero film directed by the acclaimed duo Raj & DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK).
The film is described as a high-concept, large-scale superhero action entertainer and Salman Khan is expected to play an “ageing superhero” pulled back into action, a character type he has never attempted before. Kareena is the frontrunner to play the female lead.
If finalized, this will mark the fifth on-screen collaboration between Salman and Kareena, following
Kyon Ki, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, Bodyguard, and the 2015 blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
The film is expected to begin shooting around October–November 2026, with a planned theatrical release in 2027.
Reports suggest Salman personally reached out to Kareena regarding the role, and she has responded enthusiastically, though a formal contract has not yet been signed.
The movie is being backed by Mythri Movie Makers and Atul Agnihotri.
